Appearance: Hades appears as a dark figure sometimes wearing the helmet

                        of invisibility and carrying    the spear.
Spouse: Persephone
Throne: Hades throne is very simple. It is made of pure black ebony stone with no extra ornamentation.
Friends: Orpheus, Eurydice
Enemies: Sisyphus, Demeter
Pet: Cerberus

  • He is the only Greek god not living on Olympus.
  • When Zeus overthrew Cronus, the 3 brothers - Zeus, Poseidon and Hades - drew lots for who would rule where. Zeus, being the most powerful, got the earth and the sky; Poseidon was given the seas and all the waters of the Earth and Hades was left with the Underworld and ruling the dead.
  • He is a stern and unforgiving god.
  • He is jealous of his brother Zeus, but knows he cannot overpower him.
  • His Helmet of Invisibility was made by the Cyclops.
